
ABOUT REVEREND LIZZIE WILLIAMS
Reverend Lizzie Collins Williams has been graced to serve the Lord with joy, gladness, and excellence for over seven years in the ministry.
Reverend Williams accepted her call into the preaching ministry June 26, 2011 and has willingly served in various capacities, including Youth Director, Missions Coordinator, Minister of Students, and Minister of Christian Education. Lizzie received her License to Preach the Gospel on February 10, 2013. Lizzie was ordained by the Plum Grove Baptist Church as a Christian Minister on November 15, 2015.
FAMILY
Reverend Lizzie Collins Williams is a native of West Point, MS. She is married to Demetrius Williams Sr. and is the mother of two beautiful children Desiree Nicole and Demetrius Michael II. Reverend Williams’s husband and children have served along side her in the mission field at Mission Lab New Orleans, LA, Mission Arlington, in Arlington Texas and Mission Year in Chicago Illinois. They also serve with her as accomplished and aspiring church musicians. Reverend Williams warmly embraces God’s call to bring your children up with discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). It is the ultimate goal of Reverend Williams and her family to represent God in every aspect of their lives.
EDUCATION
Reverend Williams attended Marion Military Institute where she received her Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies and The University of Alabama where she received her Bachelors in Human Environmental Sciences with a concentration in Family Financial Planning and Counseling. Later, having developed a passion for serving youth, she returned to school and received her Master’s in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. AS AN EDUCATOR Reverend Williams has worked in the education system for over 9 years. She is currently employed with the Tuscaloosa City Schools System as a Collaborative Special Education Teacher. Reverend Williams’s education has laid the foundation to assist her in the development and facilitation of several youth training programs. Reverend Williams is self-motivated and has demonstrated success in a wide range of teaching, financial planning, and administrative positions. Reverend Williams’s strong organizational and project management skills are evident through the successful administration of the various programs and the tremendous impact made on the programs’ participants.
